Chapter 1. create your stationeryThe first document we'll create for our neighborhood association is a letterhead with our logo, contact information, and a list of officers. We'll save the letterhead as a template that can be used for all of our official communications. In the process we'll learn how to use many of the most basic functions in Pages. Chapter 2. design a flyer Our next document for the WRONG association is a flyer announcing a garden tour. Chapter 3. create a newsletter template In this chapter we'll begin building a template for the organization's newsletter. Using placeholder text and images we'll design a look and feel for the publication and create a file that can be used and easily modified each time we publish the newsletter. Chapter 4. build complex content In this chapter we'll go beyond the basics of text and simple object manipulation and use some of the more complex functions in Pages to design newsletter features that aren't just your typical text stories. Chapter 5. publish your newsletter As we said earlier in the book, you should decide how your newsletter will be distributed and design it accordingly. For example, full-color offset printing is very expensive, so you might need to limit the use of color to one or two spot colors to stay within your budget.
