If one didn’t know better, one might think the term “ease of use” was coined to describe Apple’s operating system. While nothing in this world is perfect, Apple’s Mac OS X, which is the key element of every Mac sold, comes the closest to reaching that status in the realm of computer operating systems. Apple goes to great lengths to make sure that the environment you work in is every bit as functional as it is beautiful. There was a time several years ago when Apple’s lead in the area of user interfaces seemed to wane, but the latest versions of Mac OS X have once again widened that gap with their competition. Apple has what is arguably one of the most loyal customer bases of any company in the world. The fervency with which Mac fans follow Apple’s every move is a testament to the quality Apple infuses into every product they release, particularly their Macintosh line of computers.
