Part 3: Wireless Metropolitan Area Networks In Chapter 7 we provide a closer look into the IEEE 802.16 WirelessMAN standard. Part 4: Wireless Personal Area Networks In Part 4 we provide a closer look into the WPAN technologies, standards, and proposed standards. Chapters 8 and 9 describe Bluetooth and IEEE 802.15, respectively. Part 5: 2.5G and 3G Networks In Part 5 we provide a closer look into the 2.5G and 3G cellular networks as well as satellite network standards and proposed standards. Chapters 10, 11, and 12 cover General Packet Radio Service (GPRS), Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS), and code division multiple access (cdma2000), respectively, and Chapter 13 covers satellite networks.
